My Husband Rick is just finding God in his life. It's hard to say exactly where he is at, as the words have not come directly out of his mouth that he has accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. Together we have begun this journey. I am obviously slightly ahead of him and a little more open with my heart. He's a "guy", he's unsure of the waters ahead. He's nervous and I think slightly afraid of acceptance. Together we are reading the "Purpose Driven Life", and occasionally he makes funny comments that let me know he truly is grasping the readings. Last night was one of those moments.
Were sitting on the couch together watching "The apprentice" NBC.com> The Apprentice
They show Donald Trump making this Grand Entrance coming out of the sky by his own personal Helicopter. One of the females .. Makes the comment about how Donald Trump is God, he parts the sky and makes a grand entrance enters like God. Rick says out of the blue "God wouldn't like that. He wouldn't like that Donald Trump is trying to be like Him, Or that people refer to him as God because he has a lot of money." I busted out with happy laughter! Your right Honey.. He wouldn't!! OMG.. My husband got it!
