My heart is spilling with Joy!

It's 10:44pm and WAY past my bed time. I am up listening to my son cough and my husband sleep. We had a HUGE moment here tonight. We had just finished watching the Contender and I shut off the TV and rolled over. Rick asks me out of the blue to pray with him. I laid there in the dark stunned not sure what to do. I rolled back over and grabbed his hands and said let's pray. Together in the dark our hearts connected and shot up to God's Grace. It was AWESOME! My husband said things I thought it would takes YEARS for him to say. My Husband Rick, has accepted Christ. I am so proud of him. I had tears streaming down my cheeks, I still have tears streaming down my cheeks. I am beyond excited for him. He thanked God for his incredible life and all the blessings he has given him. He asked for forgiveness for his sins. But most of all he told him, He Loved Him!!!! Hallelujah! I don't think I can even begin to explain what my heart is feeling. I am just Happy.

To My Husband a Song for your heart:

"Open The Eyes of My Heart"
By: Michael W. Smith
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You
To see You high and lifted up
Shinin' in the light of Your glory
Pour out Your power and love
As we sing holy, holy, holy
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You
To see You high and lifted up
Shinin' in the light of Your glory
Pour out Your power and love
As we sing holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
We cry holy, holy, holy
You are holy, holy, holy
I want to see you
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
You are holy, holy, holy
I want to see you
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy,
I want to see you

Awesome, awesome, awesome. What an answer to prayer. It takes great brokeness to surrender and I'm so thankful Rick gave it up and dropped it at Jesus feet. God really asks so little just a little trust - I'm am full of joy for you. About that keeping track of me visiting pages - yikes - can you also see what I'm wearing? if I have make-up on? or if I'm yelling at my kids? Love you girl! Lori

Praise God,
This couldnt be better news.Alex
now has both parents committed to
Jesus. I can only think what a blessing. When Alex was born I was overwhelmed with the thought that God has big plans for him. I never told you how hard I prayed for your son's eternal outcome & of course I prayed alot for you and Rick.
